The one-eyed tabby girl from the last post about cats ended up going to another person. I was disappointed and sad, but it sounds like she'll have a good life. I wasn't really interested with trying to deal with that shelter again, so I asked my mom to matchmake for me.
My mom has a calling of setting people up with cats. She'll take any excuse to browse Petfinders and spam you with listings, it's really cute XD
She knew I was looking for a Bombay or a part-Bombay, and she found this pretty boy at a shelter on one of the nearby islands.

His name is now Adward Lightning-Bears, and he's napping in his carrier a few feet away from me :3
We wanted a pair, since most cats do better with some company, making exceptions for misanthropes like Momo. Another young kitty that had really caught Jack's eye on the website was this pretty girl.

Her name is now Candy Darling Lightning-Bears. Because she came from out on the island. We think we're funny.
It turned out that she and Adward had bonded, and were pretty much siblings at this point. Adward is a little nervous, but Candy is extremely nervous. She doesn't know what to do with herself if he's not there, and he stays right with her, sitting between her and anything threatening and letting her use his butt as a pillow.
The shelter these babies came from was like night and day to the one we tried to deal with the first time around. Their website is accurate, the volunteers were friendly, and they were willing to work with us to get the cats homed. It was a much better experience. Camano Animal Shelter, if anyone's interested.
I can't wait to get to know them more. It's hard not picking them up and hugging them, but they'll come out in their own time. I'm so, so happy. I've really missed having cats around.

They are in just the right home. People who will be patient with them and allow them to warm up in their own time. So very happy for you! Congratulations <3
