Date: 2013-10-14 02:40 pm (UTC)I like Write or Die. It lets me make progress in a short period of time and then stop, instead of spending hours feeling like I /should/ write and not getting anything done.
Sometimes I'll write out my story as a series of bullet points, so I know what needs to happen and in what order. Then if I don't know what to write next, I just check the list and it's there.
I also like brainstorming with a friend and asking them for encouragement and prodding. Usually Mini, lol.
T. I love talking about characterization. Writing meta, talking with friends, taking personality quizzes in character, whatever. It's definitely my favorite part.
X. Rodimus laughed, scrolling through the file. He'd never thought there was so much to human fur care. "Okay. It says to go against the grain. You have a grain?"
Danny drew the razor up his leg. It wasn't rocket science, exactly, but he was glad to have his friend's help all the same. "Sure. You know what I'm like when you rub me the wrong way."
